Dr. Elder Richard L. Dixon, Jr. operates at the intersection of faith, leadership, and professional excellence. Born to a pastor and an elementary school teacher, he was raised with a deep appreciation for both spiritual conviction and intellectual discipline—foundations that continue to shape his life of service and leadership.
With more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, Dr. Dixon has served as an Executive Chef, Regional Director of Operations, Food and Beverage Director, and consultant. His six years of honorable service in the United States Army earned him the Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Army Accommodation Medal. His international experience includes Germany, France, Canada, Singapore, the Philippines, Guam, and Diego Garcia.
An ordained minister, Dr. Dixon has served across Baptist, Methodist, and COGIC traditions as a pastor/administrator, elder, and Sunday School Superintendent. His ministry focuses on discipleship, leadership, church administration, and equipping believers for effective service.
Dr. Dixon holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University and a Master’s in International Relations with a concentration in Conflict Resolution from American Public University. He has served as an educator and professor at the secondary and university levels and currently teaches American Government and Politics at Oral Roberts University.
As a scholar and thought leader, Dr. Dixon writes and speaks on leadership, organizational strategy, international relations, Christian ethics, and contemporary issues facing the Church and society. His work is featured through his scholarly publications, Speaking Out2Day newsletter, and A Spiritual Pathway blog.
Married to Minister and Evangelist Constance Dixon, Dr. Dixon is the father of five and grandfather of four. His professional affiliations include IFSEA, the American Culinary Federation, CHRIE, Kappa Delta Pi, DAV, and The American Legion. He has also been recognized in the America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals.
Guided by his motto, “Your business success demands a commanding presence,” Dr. Dixon believes that diligence, discipline, preparation, and excellence are both professional responsibilities and spiritual disciplines.
